Dr. Leusden regularly attends continuing education seminars and has guest lectured in Palmer College of Chiropractic philosophy classes. Current research interests and writing projects include the neurophysiology of passive muscle testing and the language of stress accumulation and resolution in addition to permaculture agriculture systems.
Directional Non Force Technique ® Chiropractic in Salt Lake City area
Dr. Jonathan Leusden practices a specialty within chiropractic called Directional Non Force Technique® (D.N.F.T.®) is known for extremely detailed real-time analysis and very gentle corrective adjustments. The accuracy of the analysis allows Dr. Leusden to identify and effectively resolve accumulated injury, trauma and stress with very light force. There are no popping or cracking or high velocity adjustments needed. The body actually prefers to be in a corrected state and when addressed and corrected in such detail, the result are adjustments with significant holding power.
Directional Non Force Technique or DNFT as it is also known, is an original non-force technique within Chiropractic, developed by Dr. Richard VanRumpt starting in the 1920’s. What is most attractive to patients is the “very gentle,” light force approach to correcting accumulated injury and trauma as well as the relatively few number of visits needed.

Dr. Jonathan Leusden brings a very modern perspective to his work which includes meticulous and detailed specific chiropractic with a deep foundation in DNFT principals. His work and the benefits his clients appreciate make it easy to enthusiastically refer their friends and family.
